Throughout the year, Bach Akademie Charlotte performs various choral works of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries in informative, period performances. Combining the use of live excerpts, lecture notes, and thoughtful performance, the Cantata Series will inspire and educate audiences to reach a further understanding of what makes Bach’s music unique in classical music repertoire.
