A full-time singer and music teacher, Emily Shusdock directs the choirs at David W. Butler High School and the children’s choirs at Matthews United Methodist Church. In addition to a full teaching load, Emily is on the Board of Directors of Bach Akademie Charlotte and sings in the Charlotte Symphony Chamber Singers and The Same Stream Choir based in Phildalelphia, PA. Emily holds bachelors and masters degrees from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. She lives in Charlotte with her husband, John, their dog, Susie, and their cat, Geoffrey.
