About the festival

The Charlotte Bach Festival is a weeklong celebration of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The festival is designed to engage the greater Charlotte community through various programming while fostering interest in the music of Bach and his contemporaries. The week will include informative performance-demonstrations from Bach Akademie Charlotte musicians; vocal, instrumental and organ recitals; and other presentations from the students and faculty of our Emerging Artist Program. In addition to concert programming, the festival will attach community engagement opportunities to nurture a new generation of Bach lovers in Charlotte.

Bach Akademie Charlotte is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
