Esther Jeehae Ahn to perform at The Mint Museum

Pianist Esther Jeehae Ahn will perform at The Mint Museum (Uptown) on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 6:00 pm as part of the Steinway Piano Gallery’s “Let the Music Play: Steinway Residency Series.” The event is free.
Every third Wednesday of the month, a rotating lineup of talented local and regional pianists will fill the museum space with piano performances. Performances will take place 6:00–6:45 pm and as part of the Mint’s Free Wednesday Evenings, giving visitors time to enjoy the music, explore the galleries that are open until 9 pm every Wednesday.
Esther Jeehae Ahn has captivated international audiences with her rare blend of musical brilliance, sensitivity, and depth. Praised by The Boston Musical Intelligencer for her interpretive coherence and grace, she has performed at major venues worldwide, including Lincoln Center, Boston’s Symphony Hall, Seoul Arts Center, and Moscow Conservatory.
Esther holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory, and a DMA from the Eastman School of Music. A versatile soloist, chamber musician, and educator, she is Assistant Professor and Director of Keyboard Studies at the University of Central Florida (Orlando). Previously, she served as Assistant Professor of Piano at Weber State University, where she also directed the Piano Festival and Accompanying area. Esther also serves on faculty at Bay PianoFest at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
The Steinway Residency Series is presented by First Horizon Bank, and is a partnership with Steinway Piano Gallery. In addition to sponsoring community arts events, as well as college and university music programs, Steinway Piano Gallery regularly hosts SPG-Live! Concerts, educator workshops, and master classes for local music teachers and their students.
