Sarah Towner

Ms. Sarah Towner recently graduated from Wingate University, where she received her B.A. in Music with a minor in Human Services. While at Wingate, she sang with Dr. Kenney Potter in the University Singers and Chamber Choir, and in 2016, she sang at the ACDA Southern Division Conference in Chattanooga, TN.

She was an active member of the Wingate Opera Program, having played the roles of “Beth” in Aaron Copland’s The Tenderland and “Gretel” in Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, as well as many scenes from other various operas. She is currently teaching elementary music at North Belmont and Costner Elementary Schools in Gaston County and is also a member of the Charlotte Symphony Chorus.
