Free parking is available in the parking deck across 7th Street from the Church. Pick up a payment voucher from the 7th Street Lobby or the N. Tryon Street entry tower and scan it when leaving the parking deck. In case of difficulty exiting the parking deck, there is a call button on the ticket machine.

Limited handicapped parking is available on Sunday mornings in the small parking lot on 7th Street by Discovery Place. Look for the St. Peter’s Handicapped Parking sign.

Avi Stein, Organ

Avi Stein is organist and chorusmaster at Trinity Church Wall Street (New York CIty) and on faculty at the Juilliard School where he teaches continuo accompaniment, vocal repertoire, and chamber music. Avi has also served as Artistic Director of The Helicon Foundation since 2013. 

The New York Times described Avi as “a brilliant organ soloist” in his Carnegie Hall debut. Avi has directed the International Baroque Academy of Musiktheater Bavaria, and the young artists’ program at the Carmel Bach Festival. He has conducted a variety of ensembles including Tafelmusik, the Portland Baroque Orchestra, the Bang on a Can All-Stars, and the Opera Français de New York.

Avi studied at Indiana University, the Eastman School of Music, the University of Southern California, and was a Fulbright scholar in Toulouse, France.
